Wild Mountain Designs was born in 1996, in the small mountain town of Canmore, Alberta. We relocated to the beautiful Sunshine Coast in 1997 and are celebrating 30 years in business this year.

TRANSFERS
One of our greatest strengths Wild Mountain Designs is graphic design. I've been drawing and coming up with ideas since I could hold a pencil. Whether you have an idea for a design, a rough scribble for a design, or absolutely no clue as to what you want... I can work with you to come up with something great. If you have a full colour design, I can separate your art into a beautiful screen print.
We have been screen printing since 1995, so I'd like to say that we have it pretty much dialled in. If you have a full colour image, we can separate it into a beautiful halftone design and make that print come to life on a shirt. Check out some of the samples in our portfolio section and you'll see what we mean. We can print anywhere from 12 units to 12,000 units (but we usually ask for a minimum of 24). Our turn around time for screen printed apparel is as fast as 5-7 business days!
Embroidery is a nice way to show off your logo on outerwear, such as jackets, toques or caps. Embroidered iron-on patches are also a fantastic way to showcase your design, as they can be applied to almost anything. There is a minimum order of 12 units for embroidery onto garments and a minimum order of 48 units for embroidered iron on patches. Turn around time for embroidered goods can range from 2-4 weeks.
Direct to Film Transfers are a fantastic option for full colour designs at a low order quantity. They are super awesome on caps / can coozies, because you can get nice small details that you just can't get with embroidery. They are also great for names and numbers on team jerseys or any other type of corporate swag you can imagine. They are super hardy, colourful and long lasting too!

THE PROCESS
1) The Design
If you are sending us a copy of your logo, or your own design you'd like us to print or embroider, it's important that we have the best quality image in order to achieve the best results. The preferred file formats are Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, TIFF's, PDF's, PNG's or high resolution JPEG's
2) Garment Selection
We have access to many brands of apparel and headwear, including Gildan, Anvil, Bella+Canvas, American Apparel, Flexfit and more. If you are unsure of what garment will best suit your needs, call us and we'll be glad to help you out.
3) Quantities
Screen printing and embroidery is price based on quantity... that means the more you order, the cheaper it is. The minimum order is 24 units for 1-2 colour prints and 36 units on 3+ colour prints.
4) Place your order
Once we have the design, number of prints on garment, placement of prints and garment styles figured out, we will email you a virtual mock-up and quote for your approval.
5) Pay Deposit
We require a 50% deposit in order to begin work. This will be taken after artwork / quote has been approved and garment selection is finalized. Deposits can be paid via e-transfer or cheque. If you wish to pay by credit card, you will be charged a processing fee of 3.25%
6) The Work Begins
After we receive the deposit, we will begin working on your order. It all starts with creating film positives of your design in order to shoot the image onto screens. Film Positives cost $25/colour(this is a one time charge and we keep your film on file for future runs). Then we need to shoot and setup the screens in order to print your design. Screen setup/reclaim fees are $25/screen(this is charged each time a run of shirts is ordered). When these are done, the magic of printing begins. Our turn around times depend on how busy the shop is, but most orders for screen printed apparel are completed within 7-10 working days. Embroidery and embroidered patches have a turn around time of 2-3 weeks. Other merchandise such as coffee mugs and specialty items have a turn around time of 3-5 weeks.
7) Delivery
We can ship anywhere in Canada (or the world) via Purolator, UPS, Canpar or Canada Post... or you can swing by the shop and pick it all up.
